Male/Female Player of the Year Points

· Player of the year will be based on accumulated points, contribution to the sport, general sportsmanship and integrity.

· The top 3 points winners will be presented to the GCABA board for player of the year consideration.

Points are determined as follows:

· Tournaments (Local)

o Local tournaments will not be considered unless there are at least 24 players. A roster/record of the entrants must be available for verification.

o ‘Special’ tournaments with less than 24 players may be sanctioned by submitting a tournament proposal to the GCABA board. An example of this would be an Invitational Tournament. Upon board approval, the tournament can then be advertised as being recognized for player of the year consideration.
